Being in the fellowship has really transformed me as a person. Through interacting with YAS, my host nonprofit Wake Smiles, and various other local nonprofits, I have learned about the importance of their work and also how passionate each of them is about supporting their causes. This has led me to become more passionate about helping and giving back to the community, as well as supporting these nonprofits in any way I can.

Youth Ambassadors of Service (YAS) is the only youth-led nonprofit that empowers high school students to lead impactful service initiatives across the Triangle. From fundraising to volunteerism, our students are shaping the future—one project at a time. And they need *you* to keep the momentum going.

  • Support Youth Leadership: Your donation directly funds student stipends, allowing our Young Nonprofit Fellows to intern with local nonprofits and gain real-world experience.
